Alma Place

Formerly a single-storey MOT garage, Alma Place sits within the historic Crystal Palace Triangle, on the original site of the Whitbread Brewery. Nestled at the end of a quiet mews just steps from the Triangle’s pubs, antique shops, and restaurants, the site offered both charm and complexity.

Challenging ground conditions, a substantial basement excavation, protected woodland, and restricted access made this a technically demanding project. Despite this, we secured planning for six two-bedroom apartments and a separate commercial office building—later converted into an additional residential unit—maximising both space and value.
